STEPANAKERT—On July 4, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan held a graduation ceremony at his residence for students that graduated with honors from Artsakh State University and the Shoushi University of Technology.
In his remarks, Sahakyan underlined that a passion for knowledge, diligence, and a strong sense of responsibility would help the students develop their skills and abilities, become high-quality specialists and dignified citizens of Artsakh, and bring their own contributions to the Homeland’s development and wellbeing.
“We always take pride in having patriotic, educated and progressive young people who are the deserved descendants of their parents and are ready to follow their example to benefit their native country and people, to do everything possible to defend and cement our independent statehood, and to continue the previous generation’s traditions and patriotic mission,” Sahakyan said.
Sahakyan added that the state consistently works to develop fields of education and science, to create opportunities for the youth, and prioritizes raising a healthy, knowledgeable and patriotic generation.
