YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The National Press Club of Armenia issued a statement Saturday stating that "the fourth estate is among the few democratic institutions with real political influence on political and social process taking place in the country today.
"The National Press Club pledges to make every effort for the upcoming early presidential election to be more controlled–transparent–free and fair.
"The National Press Club urges all its colleagues to be ultimately impartial and unbiased in fulfilling their professional and moral duties."
