YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–A ceremonial dinner was held in the Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral Tuesday honoring Swiss delegation leader Tigran Izmirlian.
During the dinner–His Holiness Karekin I decorated Izmirlian with the highest award bestowed by the Catholicosate-the Order of St. Gregory the Illuminator.
During the meeting–His Holiness addressed a number of problems related to the Armenian Church and the current state of the worldwide religious institution.
Accompanying the delegation was Rector of the Yerevan State University Radik Martirossian and Dean of the Theological Department of the Yerevan State University Shahen Ajemian.
