WEST HOLLYWOOD–The experimental fusion rock band, Visa will be hosting a very special Thanksgiving concert on November 25, 2009 at the Troubadour. In coordination with the Los Angeles Mission, Visa will donate portions of each ticket sold to help feed the needy on Thanksgiving Day.
The Los Angeles Mission is a non-profit organization serving the homeless in Downtown Los Angeles. Each attendee that night will play a pivotal role in helping to feed the homeless during this important time of year.
Visa, a vocal musical force with a social conscience, was formed in 2003 and consists of an eclectic mix of talented musicians. Visa is old-soul, take-you-to-another-place music at its finest.
It’s poignantly emotive, hard-charging music that will lift you out of your seat. The band consistently performs to sold-out crowds at hot LA venues such as the Troubadour, the famed Whiskey A Go-Go and House of Blues.
The band also travels internationally and has a huge following throughout the United States and Canada. They are signed to Serjical Strike management and are set to release their upcoming album, “Made in Chernobyl” in early 2010.
Doors open 7:30PM tomorrow at the Troubadour at 9081 Santa Monica Blvd.
