KIEV—The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine confirmed the death of Armenian Sergey Nikoyan in Kiev, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
At least two people are reported to have died in clashes between police and protesters in the Ukrainian capital Kiev in a third night of violence, the BBC reports.
The clashes began after police moved in to dismantle a protest camp.
Protesters threw firebombs and stones, while the police used tear gas and rubber bullets. At least one of the men who died reportedly had bullet wounds.
The Russian Service of the BBC reported earlier that Sergey Nikoyan, born in 1993, was from Dnepropetrovsk.
So what if he was Armenian. He’s probably a Ukrainian citizen with Ukrainian motives and concerns.
Armenians have enough problems, the young generation should come to Armenia and defend Armenia, not waste their lives for unclear causes.
what was he doing in Kiev ? he was a fool. He should have been at the front lines in Karabagh, to fight and die defending the fatherland, not to die a useless death clenching his fist and raising his arm in guarding a barricade in a civil conflict which has nothing to do with the fatherland.
we support the peoples movement across all ethnicities… we are in solidarity with all fighting for freedom
