This year’s attractions will include tons of snow, amusement rides, children’s games, live entertainment, and great food. For the first time this year, children’s talent and fashion shows will also entertain spectators.
Winter Wonderland is located on the grounds of St. Mary’s Armenian Church, 500 S. Central Ave., Glendale, CA. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, and 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2. Admission is $3 for a one-day pass and $5 for a two-day pass. Ride and game tickets are sold separately.
The major sponsors of this event are Forest Lawn and Dignity Health, Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local and international programs of the ARS benefiting individuals, families, and communities most in need.
The Armenian Relief Society of Western USA, established in 1984 and with regional headquarters in Glendale, CA, has 27 chapters and more than 1,200 members in five western states. The ARS-WUSA operates a Social Services Division and Child, Youth, and Family Guidance Center, and funds numerous youth programs, scholarships, and relief efforts.
