CRESCENTA VALLEY, Calif.—The Armenian National Committee of America, Crescenta Valley Chapter, will be hosting a Path to College educational event for high school and college students planning to apply or transfer to colleges and top universities.
The College Workshop will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the La Cañada Flintridge Library (4545 N. Oakwood Ave. La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011). Counselors from UCLA, GCC and field professionals will be covering a wide range of topics, ranging from the university application process, college application process, financial aid, career planning, résumé building, internships, and much more. Additionally, panelists from the Armenian Student Association will provide the attendees with their hands-on experience. All speakers will be available to answer questions after their presentations.
Students of all ages and parents are encouraged to attend, as they will gain essential information and advice from counselors, field professionals and students with experience. It will enable students to better navigate their path to college.
The ANCA-Crescenta Valley Chapter has organized the Path to College Educational to allow community members to reap the benefits provided to them by community organizations. It is essential for high school and college students to gain the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to thrive in the coming years as successful students and individuals.
