YEREVAN(Armenpress) — ARF Faction Secretary Aghvan Vardanian has replaced the former ARF faction parliamentarian Artsvik Minasyan as Deputy Chairman of Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
The Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly convened in session on March 10, with the election of the Deputy Chairman included on the agenda. Committee Chairman Gagik Minasyan nominated Vardanian’s candidacy to the position. All members of the committee voted in favor of the candidate.
Meanwhile, by President Serzh Sarkisan’s decree on March 10, Ara Nranian was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Control Chamber of Armenia. According to the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Presidential Administration, the Presidential decree states:
“Guided by the 2005 amendments to paragraph 5 of Article 55 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, based on the 1st point of the 10th and 11th articles of the law on ‘Control Chamber of Armenia’ , I hereby determine:
To appoint Ara Nranian as Deputy Chairman of the Control Chamber of the Republic of Armenia, until December 13th 2019.”
In addition, former ARF faction parliamentarian Artsvik Minasyan was appointed to Minister of Economy by the President’s decree.
