STEPANAKERT, Artsakh— Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakian visited the city of Shushi on May 18.
There Sahakian held a consultation meeting with the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs, discussing implementation of various projects.
Thereafter, the President got acquainted with the developments of the reconstruction of the Shushi Culture Center and excavations being carried out in the former Meghretsots church.
Sahakian also met with young scientists in an intellectual “Brain Ring” event. The president stressed the importance of such events for global recognition of Artsakh’s statehood.
On May 9, the greater Armenian and Artsakh community celebrated the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Shushi.
