Armenian wrestler Lyova Gevorgyan won a gold medal on Monday in the 275lbs weight category at the European U20 Free-Style Wrestling Championship held in Rome, Armenpress reported.
He defeated Georgia’s Merab Suleimanashvili with a score of 13-2.
Another wrestler from Armenia, Hayk Abrahamyan (134lbs), won a bronze medal, defeating Romania’s representative with 8-3 score.
