YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The official opening of the Black Sea Bank for Commerce and Development has been scheduled for May–according to an agreement signed during the final meeting of the Bank’s provisional committee held in Salonika–Greece–on Feb. 16.
Armenia is one of the seven countries of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation–which will take part in the work of the Black Sea Bank. Representatives of all eleven BSEC countries have approved the program. Problems concerning the schedule of paymen’s–opening of an account with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development–setting up a board of directors of the Bank–as well as staff–were addressed.
