We are on the threshold of the month of February–at which time Armenia’s around the world will mark the 10th anniversary of the liberation struggle of Nagorno-Karabakh. In Los Angeles–Armenian organizations have planned various cultural–political and youth gatherings–among which will be an art exhibition-auction–which aims to bring together numerous artists from our community.
The exhibition–which is scheduled to take place from Thursday to Friday–March 12 to 13–is jointly organized by the Regional Executive of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Association and the Asbarez daily newspaper. Proceeds from the auction will be entirely devoted to the Ministry of Culture of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
An organizing meeting has already taken place–during which a decision was made to appeal–through the press and on individual basis–to all individuals willing to take part in this venture.
