YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–An exhibition of paintings by the young artist Narek Gasparian was held at the Yeghishe Charents House Museum–which was the first individual exhibition of the painter in Yerevan.
The 16 paintings and drawings put on display had been brought to the Museum from private collections from Armenia as well as other countries of the world–such as France–Italy–Belgium–and the United States.
The art-loving public had an opportunity to enjoy the canvases by the talented painter once again after an exhibition of three painters including Narek Gasparian held at the French Embassy in Armenia about a year ago.
Narek Gasparian is also a fashion designer. In 1990–after winning the ‘7 December 1988’ contest of fashion designers–he went to Paris where he studied at the Jeffrey Birs International school of fashion designers. Today Gasparian works and creates in his motherland.
