YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–President Robert Kocharian met newly-elected chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Artak Saghradian.
Stressing the importance of electoral commissions in the matter of holding free and fair elections–the president noted that the commissions bear direct responsibility for the organization of elections in accordance with the legislation. According to him–the commissions should be guided exclusively by the law.
