Chamlian students once again brought home the first and third prizes in the physics category of the California State Science Fair.
Eight grader–Hrair Simonian–won the first place prize for his work on the photoelectric effect–while sixth grader Shant Krikorian won third place for his project on laser beams. Hriar also won the special Silicon Boule Award provided by aerospace giant TRW.
"These are sharp kids–and worked very hard," said Dr. Hagop Injeyan–a physicist and a parent at Chamlian who guided both students. "We are very proud of these achievemen’s," added science teacher–Heather Jones.
