GLENDALE–The Hai Tahd Committee of Glendale reported that the Glendale City Council voted unanimously late Tuesday to place the Armenian Genocide memorial on the grounds of the Glendale Civic Auditorium.
The Armenian Genocide Council of Glendale–having reviewed various sites–had proposed two to the Council: first–the Civic Center on Broadway–next to City Hall; second–Glendale Civic Auditorium on Verdugo Road.
The Council will decide in the future–the exact site where the monument will be erected on the grounds of the Glendale Civic Auditorium.
