Today Asbarez celebrates its 12,000 issue. Asbarez was first published in August 1908 in Fresno as a weekly. In the early 1970s–Asbarez moved its offices to Los Angeles–and in January 1993–began to be published daily. Currently–Asbarez is a bilingual daily newspaper published five times a week.
Asbarez is the official publication of the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Western US–and serves over 500,000 Armenian-Americans living in the Western United States.
