LITTLE ARMENIA—Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti visited the Asbarez and Horizon headquarters on Wednesday and met with staff and management of the operations.
The Councilmember toured the facilities and Horizon studios.
In a brief meeting with Asbarez English Editor Ara Khachatourian, the councilmember provided an update of developments in his district and discussed ways the community can become engaged in neighborhood and city life.
Khachatourian briefed Garcetti on upcoming plans for the newspaper and television channel and discussed ways to work with the councilmember and his office to promote initiatives and projects by the City Council.
The councilmember was accompanied by his staffers Arsen Melikyan and Yusef Robb.
