GLENDALE—The Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region welcomed seven students as the 2011 Summer Session of the ANCA-WR Internship Program got off to a strong start this past week. The interns, who come from colleges and universities throughout California, will assist the board and staff with day-to-day operations while completing research projects and assignments covering issues ranging from public policy to community organizing.
“We are happy to have these bright and accomplished individuals join us at the ANCA-WR for the summer,” said Andrew Kzirian, Chairman of the ANCA-WR Board of Directors. “This internship will provide them with a great deal of insight into Armenian American issues and the community while preparing them to continue their activism through the ANCA in the months and years to come.”
