ANTILIAS (Armenpress)–Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I had a telephone-conversations with Armenian President Robert Kocharian and Prime Minister Aram Sargsyan March 14.
The Catholicosate press office reported that the essence of the conversations was Armenia’s current internal situation. His Holiness expressed his concern about the "lack of mutual trust in the government which is fraught with polarization–threatening the country’s stability–and economic and political life".
His Holiness called on Armenia’s leaders to perform every effort to restore the atmosphere of mutual understanding in the government. He also expressed willingness to extend every support to Armenia’s progress working jointly with Catholicos of all Armenia’s Karekin II.
