YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Delegates from Armenia–Georgia and Azerbaijan met Monday in Tbilisi to discuss issues regarding potential economic cooperation in the region–reported the Caucasus-Press news agency.
Participants of the meeting noted that one of the major pre-conditions for boosting economic cooperation among Transcaucasian countries was the settlement of conflicts flaring in the region. They said that this would help accelerate economic development of each of the republics and increase the level of international assistance rendered to them.
The sides decided to discuss all urgent problems of economic cooperation at a special regional conference–to be announced at a later date.
