YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s Minister of Social Welfare Gagik Yeganian and his Karabakh counterpart L.Gulian signed a cooperation agreement in Yerevan Tuesday.
Both ministers said that the agreement embraces all social spheres–such as the social security of the population–pension security–social insurance–population employment–the service of disabled persons and the elderly–issues of population migration and refugees as well as problems of children. The agreement opens the way to developing a single policy in the indicated spheres to find ways of solving numerous social problems as well as mechanisms of achieving this goal.
Yeganian told reporters that both ministries have been cooperating with each other to date–and the given agreement will only strengthen their positive relationship. He said the agreement is especially important to Karabakh.
