
JERUSALEM–An Armenian delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosyan visited Israel for ongoing consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries, reported Armenian public radio.
During the talks with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel Daniel Ayalon and other senior diplomats the two sides discussed the development of bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues.
The Armenian delegation also met with Zeev Elkin, the chairman of the Armenia-Israel Interparliamentary Friendship Group in the Knesset.
A trip to the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem was also on the agenda, with the delegation meeting with the Patriarch, Archbishop Torkom Manoukian.
