BEIRUT (Aztag)–The Armenian Parliamentary Caucus met with Lebanese President General Emil Lahoud Friday.
Parliamentary Caucus members Dr. Sebouh Hovnanian–Khachig Babikian–Hagop Choukhadarian–Abraham Dedeyan and George Kasargi reintroduced past deman’s. These include the proper representation of the Armenian community in government offices–Armenian as a second language in the educational system–the recognition of at least one Armenian holiday as a national holiday–and the resolution to land issues in the city of Ainjar.
