
STEPANAKERT—Deputy Prime Minister of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic Artur Aghabekyan resigned from his post on March 20.
Artsakh President Bako Sahakian, to Aghabekyan’s request, signed a decree on Monday releasing Aghabekyan from his position.
Aghabekyan announced on Monday on his Facebook page that he will continue to be engaged in providing professional consultations to those who plan on establishing small and medium-sized enterprises in Artsakh.
He further announced that he will “continue to contribute to the implementation of social-economic, investment and charity programs in Artsakh.”
The former Deputy Prime Minister further thanked his compatriots living in Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora who have followed his calls and initiatives and contributed to investment and charity programs in Artsakh.
Aghabekyan has been in office since September 2012.
