BAKU—Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry has announced that it may consider appeals from some individuals who have been banned from visiting Azerbaijan due to a previous visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, AzerNews reports.
The Azeri government announced earlier in the year that it deemed visits to Nagorno Karabakh as illegal and that any individuals who visit Arstakh would be considered personae non gratae and prohibited from visiting Azerbaijan. So far, the Azeri government has blacklisted hundreds of parliamentarians, journalists, and world-renowned artists.
The Azeri government now says that it will consider appeals to lift the ban from individuals. However, as a rule, appeals for lifting this ban must state that the person was taken to Nagorno Karabakh by deception.
Most recently, the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan made loud objections over a visit by Danish parliament members and journalists to Artsakh.
lets keep inviting more and more important and famous people, lawmakers, parliamentarians, celebrities, scientists, so these barab azeris can keep shooting azerbaijan in the foot lol
