STEPANAKERT—Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakian was sworn in for a second term in office on Friday.
Sahakian took the oath of office at a ceremony attended by President Serzh Sarkisian, other Armenian and Karabakh officials as well as his main election challenger, the retired General Vitaly Balasanian.
Also present was Primate of the Artsakh Diocese Archbishop Barkev Mardirossian.
Congratulations to President Bako Sahakian and all Armenian’s worldwide. Government and people of Artsakh continue to show the world their commitment to free and fair elections and their unshakable belief to be in charge of their destiny by taking part in every election.
