YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew Carr (residence in Tbilisi) will succeed Great Britain’s Military Attach to Armenia–Colonel Christopher Langton (residence in Moscow) in office.
On June 29–Great Britain’s Ambassador to Armenia John Mitchiner introduced the outgoing and newly appointed attaches to Armenia’s Defense Minister Vagharshak Haroutiunian. This is the first protocol visit of the new military attach to Armenia.
The sides reportedly discussed prospects of developing cooperation between the two countries’ military departmen’s and other issues of mutual interest.
