LOS ANGELES—On Wednesday, August 1, Metro Chair Diane DuBois appointed Glendale City Council Member Ara Najarian to serve on Metrolink’s Board of Directors for the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA). Najarian has been a Metro Board Member for seven years and has previously served five years on the Metrolink Board.
Councilmember Ara Najarian stated that he is “excited to be back on the Metrolink Board to continue to improve mobility throughout Glendale and Southern California.” Local officials like Councilmember Najarian provide specialized insight into issues facing the immediate region to help better improve Southern California’s overall transportation and rail goals.
