NORTHRIDGE–The Armenian Student Association at California State University–Northridge will start a year long celebration of its 25th Anniversary with a banquet on November 9–to be held at the Arbat Golden Palace in Burbank–starting at 8pm. The evening’s program will include numerous live performances–authentic Armenian cuisine–and dancing.
CSUN is home to the largest Armenian student body of any university in the United States. CSUN’s Armenian Studies program-part of the University’s College of Humanities-offers courses in Armenian language–culture–history–and current events. The CSUN ASA along with the Armenian Studies program have provided Armenian students with the opportunity to maintain their cultural heritage since 1976.
We want every Armenian student who has ever attended CSUN to be part of our momentous celebration. To purchase tickets for the banquet please call Shake Hovsepian at (818)640-0680 or email Arpineh Babakhanian at Arpsy13@aol.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $50.
We invite all previous CSUN Armenian students to get involved in the CSUN ASA Alumni Association. Contact Christine Jerian at (818)497-6313 for further information.
The community is invited to attend this event and assist the CSUN ASA in marking this milestone during the November 9 banquet-celebration.
