YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–"The President of Armenia believes the delays in the trial of Vano Siradeghian [former interior minister charged with murder plots] and others to be a challenge to our society and justice and a disrespect for the judiciary," Presidential Spokesman Vahe Gabrielian said in a television appearance.
If delays continue–the situation may totally shatter public trust in justice–and therefore the Prosecutor’s Office and judicial bodies must draw appropriate conclusions–the spokesman added.
