ENCINO–Calif.–It was announced at the July 28 Ferrahian Commencement Ceremonies that Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Julie Galian donated $25,000 to the school. The donation is aimed at enlarging Ferrahian’s Godikian Library–dedicated to the memory of their grandfather. Over the years the Galians have donated more than $120,000 for various school projects.
With the new donation the Godikian Library will increase the volume of its books and literary and scientific journals. The library will also acquire a computer network connecting it to the research databases of university libraries.
The library is now called the Godikian-Galian Library.
Ferrahian principal–Dr. Marzbed Margossian and the entire Ferrahian family expressed their deep gratitude to the Galians for their generous donation and continuous moral and financial support of the school.
