YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–An official delegation of the Ministry of Development of Greece is on a visit to Yerevan to discuss the construction of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline–Chief of the Development Department–Ministry of Energy–Hrachya Khachatrian told Noyan Tapan. The Greek delegation’s visit–which will last until June 11–is part of the tripartite Memorandum on Mutual Understanding signed by Iran–Greece and Armenia in Tehran this February.
The discussion of a number of issues related to the construction of the gas pipeline is expected to become the basis for the Greek government’s final position on entering into the consortium on the construction of the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline.
