YEREVAN (Armenpress)–On January 6–deputy foreign ministers of Iran and Armenia met in Tehran to discuss ways of improving bilateral relations between the two countries–reproted IRNA news agency.
Ruben Shugaryan of Armenia met with his Iranian counterpart Ali Ahani–who commented on the key role of Iran in the region and expressed satisfaction with the improving bilateral ties between the two states.
Shugaryan referred to the strategic location of Iran in the region neighborhood of and said any plan to settle the regional crises would remain fruitless without Iranian presence and cooperation. He voiced his country’s readiness and resolve to boost ties with the regional states–including Iran.
Ahani said Iran is fully ready to take part in the development of different projects in Armenia.
