YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian delegation led by President Robert Kocharian returned from Israel January 20–late in the evening.
At the airport–the president expressed his satisfaction with the results of his visit to Israel. Asked if the visit might affect Armenia’s relations with Iran–the president said: "The Republic of Armenia will never take any step that may undermine the interests of its friends."
Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian–also spoke–describing the visit as an important step for Armenia’s bilateral dialogue with the authorities of Israel and Palestine.
