In a statement published in the July 18 issue of the Armenian newspaper "Azg," the chairman of the Ramgavar Party of Armenia Ruben Mirzakhanian–pronounced his resignation.
His signed statement reads: "With this I hereby state that as of 6 PM on July 18–2003–I officially resign from my post as Chairman of the Ramgavar Party of Armenia."
The paper did not provide additional details.
