YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Alexander Zakarian–a Moscow-based saxophonist–started a three-day concert tour in Yerevan March 7 at the "Aragast." Zakarian also announced that his laser disc "Nostalgie of Armenia" would be for sale in Yerevan while he was on tour. The disc includes treated Armenian folk songs. The musician uses a saxophone instead of the Armenian duduk (pipe) to perform many renowned Armenian songs.
