GLENDALE–A letter which appeared in the Wednesday edition of the Glendale News-Press expressed the writer’s–Glendale resident Arsen Pettrosian–disappointment with the negative campaigning underway from the camp of Republican candidate Craig Missakian. Pettrosian–who identified himself as an undecided voter–wrote of Missakian’s association with cable show operator Vatche Mangasarian and the candidate’s work in turning the race into a "mud-slinging campaign."
Pettrosian wrote–"Mangasarian’s …show…has been known in the community as an incompetent gossip show that attempts to gain ratings through controversy." The Glendale resident challenged the candidate to "find more sensible way(s) to present (his) candidacy."
