YEREVAN (Armenpress)–At the request of Russian attorney Oleg Yunoshev–the trial of five defendants accused of raiding the Armenian parliament in 1999 and killing eight top officials has been postponed once again. Yunoshev represents the family of Vazgen Sarkisian–the Armenian prime minister who was killed during the attack. The trial was scheduled to resume in a local Yerevan court on Monday–but Yunoshev–currently in Moscow–requested a week’s suspension of the trial until his return.
