LITTLE ARMENIA—The Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School celebrated its 42nd Anniversary Gala at Arbat Banquet Hall in Burbank, on March 9. The evening was a huge success as students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and long-time friends of Pilibos all gathered together to celebrate Pilibos and its rich history of excellence, community, and family.
The evening began with a silent auction reception, where guests perused items donated by generous businesses and families. Items ranged from art pieces to jewelry to gift certificates and so much more. All proceeds from the silent auction contributed to the funds raised for the School that evening.
Then guests enjoyed a performance by Vartan and Siranoush Gevorkian Dance Ensemble, depicting the rich cultures and traditions of Armenia. Later in the evening guests enjoyed a video about Pilibos and its history, alumni were honored, and the Principal, Alina Dorian, Ph.D. thanked everyone for attending and supporting the school and truly making Pilibos a Family she is proud to be a part of.
The evening dubbed “come together” was truly that – an opportunity for the greater Pilibos family to come together to honor its history, its present, and help support its future. The evening raised over $140,000, ensuring the continued progress within Pilibos for its students and their future.
