PARIS (Armenpress)–The president of Armenia Robert Kocharian arrived in Paris on Tuesday with a delegation including Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Armenian Ambassador to France Eduard Nalbandian.
Kocharian and the President of the French Senate M. Christian Poncelet met to discuss bilateral relations; after their meeting–Kocharian decorated Poncelet with Mesrob Mashdots order for his efforts in expanding friendship and cooperation between France and Armenia.
Kocharian is scheduled to meet on Wednesday with French President Jacques Chirac–the French Minister of Economy–Finance and Industry–and Members of the France-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Kocharian is also scheduled to meet with France’s Prime Minister Jean Pierre Raffarin–President of the French National Assembly Jean-Louis Debr–as well as with the minister of transport–tourism and maritime issues.
