STEPANAKERT (Artsakh Press Office)—On July 14, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan received Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
According to the Artsakh Press Office, the meeting discussed a range of issues related to the monitoring of the border between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan. In this context, the issue of the expansion of the office of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office was touched upon.
Maintaining the stability on the border was mutually emphasized.
On July 15, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the border between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in the direction of Hadrut near Horadiz settlement.
From the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden), as well as by Head of the OSCE High Level Planning Group Colonel Hans Lampalzer (Austria).
The Artsakh authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
