SACRAMENTO–Sossi Keuylian, 46, of Irvine, has been appointed to the New Motor Vehicle Board, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office announced Wednesday.
Since 2001, she has served as senior executive of the business division for Platinum Motors/Lamborghini Orange County. Additionally, since 2007, Keuylian has co-owned Commonwealth Audi and Commonwealth Volkswagen in Santa Ana Mall.
Since 2006, Keuylian has co-owned Lotus Beverly Hills and Lamborghini Calabasas. From 2001 to 2005, she was senior executive of Platinum Motors and held the same position for Exclusive Incorporated, from 1998 to 2000.
In 1998, Keuylian was director of education and communications for Executive Forums and, from 1994 to 1997, was assistant vice president/senior education consultant for CB Commercial. She is a member of the board of directors for the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association and a member of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, American International Automobile Dealers Association and National Automobile Dealers Association.
This position does not require Senate confirmation and the compensation is $100 per diem. Keuylian is a Republican.
