
The first-ever screening of “The American Good Samaritans” in Los Angeles will be held on April 26 at the AGBU Performing Arts Center. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m at the AGBU PAC, located at 2495 E Mountain St. Pasadena, CA 91104.
“The American Good Samaritans” is a story about survivors, about extraordinary American humanists, thanks to whom remnants of the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian peoples were saved from total destruction. Their mission was to save human lives.
The film, which has won a total of 135 awards at various international film festivals, is in English, with subtitles available in several languages, including Armenian.
The creative team behind “The American Good Samaritans” includes: Paul Levine, narrator (U.S.); Manvel Saribekyan, producer (Armenia); Amber Karlins, writer (U.S.); Ara Mnatsakanyan, director (U.S.); Artashes Kartalyan, composer (U.S.); Ashot Mkrtchyan, director of photography (Armenia); and Tigran Baghinyan, editor (Armenia).
“The American Good Samaritans” was filmed in the U.S., Germany, Turkey, Greece, Lebanon, Iran, and Armenia, and produced by Man Pictures Production, an Armenia-based company.
