GLENDALE—The Los Angeles Chapter of Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief (SOAR) is hosting its 3rd Annual Casino Royale Fundraising Event on November 10, 2012 in effort to help raise funds for the Computer Lab Project for orphanages in Armenia and for humanitarian relief for the orphanages of Artsakh, Javakhk and Lebanon.
SOAR hopes to raise additional funds for five computer labs for the children in the orphanages in Armenia and send humanitarian relief to the Armenian orphans in the Diaspora.
“We are also preparing a sea container to be shipped to Armenia by fall, 2012, thanks to generous and loyal donors,” said Kohar Mardirossian Pelter, the President of SOAR-LA. “Casino Royale evening promises to be a fun filled evening with a wide selection of fun play, exciting prizes, fantastic gifts and media coverage.”
Robert Kardashian has also joined other celebrities in support of the SOAR-Los Angeles Chapter. Kardashian tweeted about the event to his over 3.5 million fans, “Join me in supporting this Armenian non-profit, SOAR-LA’s Casino Night on Nov. 10th in Glendale.
