YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Three Bengali citizens were detained Tuesday night while attempting to illegally cross into Armenia from Turkey–Itar-Tass reported–Wednesday.
The transgressors were detained at about one o’clock local time. An investigation has been launched and the Armenian ministry of national security has been informed of the incident.
This is the second time over the past two years that Bengali citizens have violated Armenia’s border.
