YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan) — The so-called "Trial of 31" was once again postponed following Friday’s hearing–when witness Moushegh Aghajanian–the brother of defendant Armen Aghajanian–refused to testify citing Article 42 of the Armenian Constitution which states that a person is not required to testify against himself–a spouse or relatives.
Presiding justice David Avetissian expressed his disappointed with the court’s failure to summon other witnesses for that day’s hearing. The proceedings were expected to resume Tuesday.
