YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Exhibits demonstrated during the exhibition of Armenian cultural treasures in the Vatican was insured by the HSBC Insurance company. The total amount of insurance added up to $20 million. During the exhibition Ayvazovsky’s "Fathers-Mkhitarians on St. Lazarus Island" was cut with a knife. However–the picture was restored at the expense of the insurance and is being exhibited at the National Picture Gallery of Armenia–the Insurance company told Noyan Tapan.
