YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Romania’s President Emil Konstantinesku was scheduled to arrive in Yerevan on an official visit on Friday. The delegation accompanying him was to include his personal advisor Dan Kapatsina; state advisors Dan Petre and Alexandra Karakoti; deputy minister of industry and trade and state secretary Nikolae Stykulesku; deputy foreign minister and state secretary Ryzvan Oungureanu; the chairman of the parliamentary group on national minorities Varuzhan Pambukchian–and other officials. A group of business was also scheduled to join the governmental delegation.
Konstantinesku has been scheduled to hold meetings with Armenia’s President Robert Kocharian and Parliament Speaker Khosrov Haroutiunian. Broad Armenian-Romanian negotiations as well as the signing of bilateral documen’s and a briefing were also planned.
The president of Romania was also scheduled to visit St. Echmiadzin–the Genocide Museum–the Madenataran and the Dzidzernakapert monument.
