“We’re excited about this year because we will be showcasing some of the most beautiful wedding displays by vendors in Los Angeles County who are truly the best in this industry. We have a wide array of entertainment, food, flowers, cakes, and really anything a bride would need to plan her dream wedding. It’s a huge party with couples from all over LA,” said Co-Founder and CEO of Harsanik, Marineh Tchakerian.
Harsanik, which means “wedding” in Armenian, was started in 2007 when the brother and sister duo wanted to help Armenian families along in the wedding planning process by creating the first ever online directory for Armenian wedding vendors in Los Angeles. With Los Angeles having the largest Armenian population outside of Armenia, the website quickly grew. Over the last few years, the directory has become a center for listings, reviews, tips, trends, and information that brides in Los Angeles turn to for help. Focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses, the website is devoted to showcasing the work of independently owned businesses in Los Angeles both online at the large annual Harsanik Bridal Show.
“Harsanik is devoted to helping my business grow. Our brands, L.A. Banquets and Anoush Catering, have consistently been showcased on Harsanik making it easier for brides to find our venues and cuisine. Harsanik is a powerful source that helps independent wedding businesses thrive in Los Angeles,” said Vrej Sarkissian, a featured vendor at the event.
Vendors interested in reserving booth space and showcasing their work can contact Marineh from Harsanik. And tickets for the 2015 bridal show will go on sale the last week of January. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. The first batch of brides to sign up will get a special prize.
